Armstrong ranked highest, performing particularly well in operational performance and design features. Power and Associates. The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) awarded Armstrong Cabinets its Environmental Stewardship Program certification for commitment to the responsible use of natural resources through sound environmental management and sustainable practices.
Developed in 2006, the groundbreaking Environmental Stewardship Program grants annual certification to those manufacturers who meet a stringent set of environmental criteria. The criteria are designed to promote the sustainability of natural resources, reduce waste, and to reward those companies who are going above and beyond in their efforts to reduce environmental impacts.
To earn the association's ESP certification, Armstrong Cabinets had to demonstrate compliance to a set of standards in five categories: air quality, product resource management, process resource management, environmental stewardship and community relations.
