The "town and country" or "Regional" antique furniture is gathered from the far corners of China, Tibet, Mongolia and North Korea, and dates from the Ming Dynasty (1368 AD - 1644 AD) to the Qing Dynasty (1644 AD - 1911 AD) to the mid 1940s including some interesting Art Deco and European style furniture.
The three principals, John, Jharna and James Milne, make frequent buying trips throughout China and have developed a close working relationship with a number of antique dealer/collectors, thereby ensuring a broad selection of the finest quality antique furniture available, and equally important, that these antiques are carefully restored and finished.

A joint venture was recently formed with one of their Chinese antique dealer/collectors thereby providing The China Collection with warehouse space to build up an inventory of quality and unique furniture pieces and to act as a consolidation and shipping point for furniture that has been "cherry picked" from the numerous other antique dealers in China.
