The beauty and translucency of handcrafted textured glass is conveyed in Screen, a new modular partition by renowned glass artist, designer and manufacturer Joel Berman. Screen is ideal for hospitality applications and for today's condominium and other residential environments where spaces are open.
By its nature, textured glass is translucent; it allows an abundance of light while obscuring objects sufficiently to permit privacy. In this manner textured art glass functions well as a partition, dividing a space while working with light in intriguing ways. Combining panels of glass featuring organic and symmetrical art glass textures, Screen becomes a functional glass sculpture. The modular nature of the system allows the user to combine units for a larger, more dramatic application. Customizing Screen by adding shelves or by mounting a flat screen monitor further increases the partition's functionality.

Product Notes:
Designed to stand vertically in spaces with 8—9ft ceilings, Screen's installed height can be adjusted using threaded rods (included). The unit secures in place by adjusting the fixing plates tightly against the floor and ceiling like a mechanical brace. Optionally, the fixing plates can be secured to floor joists and ceiling supports with screws. The horizontal dimension is 36". A single Screen unit features nine panels of art glass in various textures and texture directions combined to form a complete architectural composition.
