ClassicCloth continues the level of excellence established by the Dessin Fournir Companies. Founder Chuck Comeau set out to create a fabric line made of connected and layered patterns and colors, believing that each new group should share qualities with previous groups and complement each other. ClassicCloth is a collection of sophisticated textiles infused with a decided quality of the past and a modern sureness of taste. A subtle earthy palette of color meanders through the line, engaging each pattern to another. A luxurious, linen damask in a cornsilk yellow blends effortlessly with a striking cut velvet in a saturated saffron orange as well as a spider web silk sheer in cream and beige. Every pattern is created as a complement to the others in this dynamic collection. Silks, linens, cottons and wools are layered in a complex myriad of related tones and timbres. Taking inspiration from the past, ClassicCloth represents a thoroughly modern and usable collection of textures and colors that, like all classics, is timeless.
