| Product Description: This set of very old screen doors is carved with open lattice work and floral motif on the upper part. The middle plaques are carved with beautiful bird, mythical animals, and floral motifs, all slightly worn from the time. The bottom solid wood panels are intricately carved with a stylized Shou (Longevity) character surrounded by bats. Traces of original red lacquer can be seen at the bottom panels. These doors are very rare because they are 300-400 years old form an old Ming Dynasty dwelling. Since Jan 2004, architectural doors and windows are difficult to obtain due to China's effort in salvaging the finest antiquities available domestically, and also because of the abundant newly rising museums seeking for the stock.
