| Product Description: The H-1200 is our premium mechanical filtration system, with maximum protection and enhanced capacity. The H-1200 provides basic Everpure protection, plus NSF® certified reduction of lead, Trihalomethanes (THMs), Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOCs) and Methyl Tert-Butyl Ether (MTBEs). The H-1200 drinking water system offers NSF certified reduction of MTBEs, a common gasoline additive increasingly found to leak into ground water supplies and contaminate drinking water. It is made of methanol and a by-product of the oil-refining process. Lead reductionThe H-1200 drinking water system reduces lead to below the Federal Action Level of 15 ppb and effectively adsorbs THMs and VOCs. Additionally, 1/2 micron filtration provides NSF certified aesthetic chlorine/chloramine reduction and reduction or removal of: off-tastes, odors, dirt, rust, parasitic protozoan cysts such as cryptosporidium and giardia, asbestos fibers, and all particles 1/2 micron and larger in size. New KDF media controls bacteria and inhibits lime-scale build-up in water-using appliances such as coffee makers and ice makers. Taste The Difference.
